Dear Friends and Family

When we created this website we did so with the express purpose of sharing our new lives and one new life with all of you. Quite remarkably, we've kept it up for seven months; neither of us ever envisioned producing so many posts. Of course, neither of us expected a child like Thomas; he is a muse if there ever was one. A good eye, a sharp wit, and a beautiful star have made this an easy, if not always timely, endeavor. An endeavor we plan to continue so long as so many of you are spread out hither and yon. (I think yon is in Mongolia.)

That said, here are some housekeeping notes. We are all caught up in our posts. In the future we hope to stay no more than ten days behind. Of course if we aren't taking photographs, that ten day span might actually be longer. So long as we stay caught up, we may also post short notes about various goings on. These will be similar to the notes from Thomas' doctor visits.

You may have noticed that we added links to some favorite posts at the top of the main page. This is a random selection of ten of our favorite posts. If you look to the right in the white side bar there is also a set of favorites. These are the ten most recent of our favorites. In both locations you can find a link to a list of all our favorites, which is actually just a post we published earlier today. Even though this post was created today, it will always be current. We will add to the list of favorites roughly once a month.

Oh, and the blue side box will continue to be the place to check for news, special links, and the like.

That about does it. We hope you are all doing well, and if you aren't, we hope Thomas can help you feel just a little bit better.
